Celebration of my Nephew's Wedding.

Last year on Octorber 1, my nephew got married we had a big celebration. That day early in the morning my nephew the grooom and his groomsmen with the wedding coordinator led a beautifully decorated proccession of 8 cars to go and pick up his beautiful bride.

When the bride with her gifts and bridsmaids arrived at my sister's home ,we had a traditional ceremony. The groom wore a pink shirt and dark blue trousers,the bride wore a tra ditional white dress, we are very proud of the good looking newlyweds,the groom and bride bow their heads and serve a cap tea to each family members and receive they are blessings.

after that everyone goes to a restaurant for the wedding banquet dinner. There are two large posters already in place of bride and groom. The groom passes out ciqurettes and bride passes out candy to the guests, they receive red envelopes and blessings in return .It is a big day , all eyes are on this newlyweds, they take a lot of pictures . on this wonderful wedding reception the bride and groom go around to every table to greet and thank each guests.The guests usually tease them and make fun of them as well as offer their cougratulations . This special day is one that they will remember forever.

Peking duck a famous Chinese Delicacy

In china Peking Duck is a famous delicacy. When people eat Peking Duck it usually is on a special occasion. This delicacy is a traditionnal classic dish, but it is so hard to make that people always go to a rastaurant, where they have made reservations and requested Peking Duck by special order. Because this is making Peking Duck takes a long time at least two hours.
Peking Duck alway is served in a colorful,beautiful, big plate. When Peking Duck come to the table, in the middle is a bowl of maxed soy sauce,sunrounded by small pieces of boneless meat, out side the cicle of meat is another circle of golden crispy skin slices, and wheat flou wraps. To
start eating , first put a wrap on your own plate and add some meat plus a little sauce ,Green Onion , Cucumber and put the crispy skin on the top fold and eat. wherever this de licacy is found it displays Chinese eating culture. The aroma color and taste are all so good , so people on special occasions like having this delicacy. Peking Duck rankd as a fastastic delicacy in China.

The ESLR's to me being comfortable living in America and finding a good job.

First I want to speak English fluently, I can talk to my neighbors and join in community meetings, I can understand what people say and what are people's opinions. when I watch T,V,I can figure out what is happening around the world,resolve my own situations and problems. For example,I can work with bank statements, contract and other documents. second I want to be an accountant, and I will be taking career training.

All in All the ESLR's purpose is to help us live in America easier and smarter.

Shopheap ly was a refugee from Cambodia.When she was 16 years old,she had a big dream she wanted to be a doctor.Randy was arefugee from El Salvador.When he was 13 years old ,he learned that writing is very powerful. They never gave up their dream. In 2010,I am making goals.First, I would like to exercise three times a week.Second I would like to save money to take a vacation to China. Third I would like to improve my English writing skill. over all the goals I make , I will remind myself all the time that goals are important to me for life of good health and success.
